I'm not sure trading cards deserve a topic of their own, if no one cares (and I don't care even that much), it'll just be left aside.
I was mass-changing the prices of my last remaining cards and used the Steam client instead of my browser (which I was restarting). As a result I had to go through my inventory to resell stuff I canceled (instead of the very handy 'change price' feature in Steam extensions for Chrome). Guess what, instead of reselling a 0.05€ card for .05€, I ended up reselling a 0.12€ card for 0.05€, i.e. 0.03€ profit. And I didn't even want to resell it! Now I'll have to re-buy it for a net loss of 0.09€... If I care enough. I don't think I will. I just learned a lesson about:
1/ not using the Steam client to do fuck-anything, because it WILL reset the inventory to my first card in alpha order, when I'm finished with another, (And of course, that card was the first in my window...)
2/ Steam's strange ways of handling prices. The highest bidder offers 0.08€, and he doesn't get to have my card. Nope, a random user who bid 0.05€ is getting it. Thank you very much, Valve.
And I suppose I can't appeal to them, it's my fault for just mass-accepting the sale prices. Got to thank them for their tiny card thumbnails on mobile phones...
