Yes I'm planning to do that. Only as a premium feature though, to limit the number of lowball offers one could receive when a rare item is added.

Progress report for offers: can now create an offer. Gosh!!! What a nightmare it was. Now I just need to write some quick interface for the rest (listing offers, accepting, declining, completing). It should go faster... can't go any slower than that anyway. ;)

One thing that could help the trading experience in the long run is the ability to add comments. Even with the new features being worked on, it is still something valuable, however the sooner it gets out the more useful it becomes.
Do you think it is something that is quick to implement or it is not worth pursuing now?

I'd say it's quick because I reserved the thought system for that. (Look at the homepage at wedge.org for a sample.)
However I didn't notice any urgent requests regarding this so I'm focusing on lists for now.

Well, I sort of put the trading system on the backburner since most users here decided to go back to Barter (at least until everything's ready for mass consumption, I imagine). I myself decided 2 weeks ago that even if it was reopened, I'd never trade again over there. (Unless I got a good offer, because, never close a door when you can close the window instead :P)

I think it may be mostly due to the fact that I really broke my back writing that system, and seeing it only be 'useful' for one entire day was heartbreaking to me. I'll revisit it, add comments, countering[1], fail reasons, and other things, once the whole list editing thing is stabilized.
 1. Another 'easy' feature to implement, but I'd like to make it 'right' and enable users to cancel a counter and just come back to the previous offer.

I absolutely feel for you.
Well at least it keeps some of the pressure away, and you can take your time to implement the things you do the right way from the beginning.

Yes, like libraries. :P (Up until now they were using app IDs instead of LT IDs, as opposed to other lists. Now at least it's cleaner internally.)

I have good memories of Barter (and a lot of respect for the amount of work it took to create it), so I guess it's better than seeing people flock to Steamtrades. :^^;:

But I still feel bitter about the fact that the admin never told us why he left for a year, or why he came back 'coincidentally' one day after I opened the replacement site. I can understand his desire for privacy, but when you've lost your community's trust, being even more secretive isn't really sending a good message. At least in my opinion.

Quick poll: do you guys think an 'Uncancel' button would be a good idea?
A button that'd show up on offers you canceled, allowing you to just re-send them without having to re-create them.
You could thus think of the Cancel feature as a 'Pause' function where you can tell the third party that you're not ready/willing to proceed with the offer, and then later change your mind.

(I'm always trying to think of ways to improve the overall experience.)

My real wishlist is on steam.
My wishlist here is for trading purposes.
I like to trade for games I do not own based on Want/Have Ratio, rather than other approaches.

It's in my to-do list. For some reason I spent the evening working on a feature no one will use called 'editing list item trading tags' 8-)

Quick poll.
If you don't understand the question, feel free to just ignore this.
What's the general idea about tag editing from within list pages (e.g. wishlist, tradables)?

- Do you prefer having the tag 'editor' show up below the game you want to modify? If yes-- immediately (which will probably slow down initial page loading unless I go for a 100% JavaScript solution) or after a second's delay?
- Do you prefer having the editor show, for instance, at the bottom of the page, common to all games in the list, filled out by JavaScript to refer to the currently 'selected' game?

I'm not fussed either way... Second way is probably the way to go for mass editing but I'm not sure whether I'll do mass editing right now.

Tag editing from within list pages is one of the most complicated things I've done in terms of UI (as in, "make it powerful but still very usable" -- turns out it's not that easy.)
That's the reason I enabled tag editing from within game pages -- it's easier for me to manage.
