I'll check Yonder out because I enjoy the exploration even more than the puzzles, to be honest. I will get obduction as soon as I can. Just because it's Cyan. That's reason enough for me. I even read the Myst novels as a kid. I was a little geek.

I recommend Stories Untold if you like puzzle games with great atmosphere. It's only $3.39 and worth every penny even though it's only a two-three hour game. I sat and played it all the way through in an afternoon because it held my attention so strongly. It's got an eighties vibe to it with a lot of text-based gaming integrated.

Stories Untold was in a humble monthly, so you can get it through trading, or at least much cheaper than even $2 in value I'd say.

Obduction is about $8 on g2a right now, I.e. less than $10 with their hidden fees (make sure to disable their Shield scam though, otherwise you'll pay $3 for nothing.) It's 30% cheaper than when I bought it there... :(

So, did anyone find anything interesting in the Summer sale...?

I can't seem to be able to get excited. Firewatch is 5€ which I guess is interesting but it's a perfect candidate for a future Humble Monthly, so no thank you... I'd rather take my chances and wait for the Winter sale. Major\Minor (a weird visual novel) is 3€. Dunno if that one would be bundled soon.
The rest, meh...
Even NieR:Automata isn't on sale at all. (Maybe tomorrow...)

There are some things I want. My kid has been bugging me to get Child of Light for PC and it's on sale for $5 now so I might nab that one. Phoning Home is less than $5 now. I want all the Drawn games but even $5 each seems too high for them.

Child of Light: it's been seen at $3.74 before IIRC. However it's a great game (if you can bear with the text being entirely written in rhymes... Gets old VERY quickly!), so you can jump on it if you like.
Phoning Home was bundled (https://lestrades.com/bundle/5860) just a few months ago, in a $5 tier, meaning the sale right now is really not recommended. You'd be paying the same price for just one game instead of a bunch...

Portal 1 & 2 -- if you never bought them, you're late. ;) But yeah, all of the Valve games are very cheap, but it was already the case six months ago.

Was afraid you'd already jumped on Phoning Home ;)
Even if you can't find a suitable trade for it, you can find it under $3 on g2a. (Which is a bit expensive IMHO for a low-profile bundled game.)

As with every sale I have about 70€ worth of wallet money (gotten exclusively through card farming), and each sale I'm spending less and less. My first sale with cards I remember I complemented my total purchases with about 15€ worth of PayPal money.. since then I've never used PayPal money again. Last sale I had 20€ left after the sale. This time I really need to look hard to find something I'd rather buy on same than wait for it to be bundled.

Maybe the result of 4000+ untouched games in my library... Which are basically my only hobby from the last couple of years. At least it's a cheap hobby.

For it to be bundled the following week? No thanks ;)
But yeah last time I bought two games I wanted to support-- Thimbleweed and Yonder. I'll probably do the same here. But what indie dev to support..! No idea. Town of Light maybe? But it's cheap. ^^

I keep waiting for Thimbleweed to be bundled. Every month I look hard at the Monthly and say THIS MONTH.

I feel for you.
Then again I really should start playing it before it gets bundled, otherwise I'll get grumpy... Like Thumbleweed's author :P
