I noticed that at https://www.greenmangaming.com/gamesaid-charity-bundles-2018/ if you open up the alpha and the beta bundle there via 'view more' that both will redirect to the beta bundle, so that has to do with it. They linked incorrectly, so I assume you simply added the first bundle to the basket or opened the alpha bundle there via 'view more' and then the beta bundle popped up which you bought. Especially for those who just add the product to their basket, they probably do not realise that GreenManGaming linked incorrectly. The proof is right on their own website. It is indeed very deceptive.
I am wondering how did you know about the bundle? Couldn't find the link to it in any of the menus. Surprised they have such good bundles.
I think it was announced here a while back: https://www.epicbundle.com/

I removed all links to GMG bundles from /bundles/ page until they make good on their mistake.
So far I haven't heard back from them...

I'm wondering if this is a first..? The new weekly bundle only has a $10 tier.

Also, it has Phantom Brave in it. Well worth the purchase! I was given the game over a year ago and really enjoyed finishing it.

From the way I see it, Humble Bundle has become a lot more profit focused since they were taken over. The same thing can be seen with those Humble Store promotions with supposedly free games (of which all keys were gone) only to boost the sales of the Humble Store. In the past the focus was on quality. I have been bugging them for a while to at least remove the keys of free games that expired and free games of which they no longer have keys when sorting one's list of keys for the 'unused keys', but these unremovable 'free things' keep cluttering up that list. Obviously they no longer care about providing an optimal user service or they fired the best programmer that Humble Bundle had with that take over.

Looks like the can't miss humble monthly with Portia and Soulcalibur will be the last of its kind. It's being replaced with Humble Choice(s?), which is way more expensive but you get to choose your games. Current subscribers will remain at the old price, so that's great, but I hope we can still pause a month, otherwise it's not worth it to me.
Also I don't like being forced into subscribing forever...
Opinions?

"Pausing your subscription is fine, and will not cause you to lose access to Classic for doing so. Only canceling your subscription will cause you to lose access to the Classic plan. Additionally, if your subscription is paused when Humble Choice has launched you will still be converted over to a Classic plan."

Okay, I'm on board then...
I'll just have to remember to pause every month if it's just shit games, obviously. But being able to determine that ONCE the games are all out, is just great, and well worth the hassle.

Controversial decision just to attract more subs. Not surprised given they are no longer dependent, but part of J2 Global.

I think this might turn into a pretty good deal for those who remain subscribed (regardless of whether it is paused or not). Seeing what is in a bundle upfront is a great feature, so everyone knows exactly whether it is worth it to them or not (assuming pausing is possible after the reveal of next month which seems logical).

Also that Humble Trove is turning into something like GOG (not all that useful to everyone depending on one's personal amount of games, but it is a nice feature to those who are new especially).

The minimum amount of games should be going up that is in a bundle.....currently it has been between 7 and 11 games per month and with the new set up it seems it is at least 10 games per month by default. Then again, the maximum might also be 10 games......it would be nice if those with the Classic Plan also are given choice.

Trove is a good addition, but sadly the interface is just not there. It is a bunch of games thrown together in what it looks like a photo viewer.

I wonder why they don't do the monthly, but include options for ebooks or music.

Humble Choice is coming next month, I hope the quality of games will be as good as it is now.

As mentioned & discussed in my post 10 days ago. ^^
Although at the time, it was just a shot in the dark when I said that monthly would be the last one. Now we're pretty clear on the fact that Choice is coming right after the release of that monthly, so that'd be Friday, December 6.
