The scraper isn't built for that... It's built to import everything, with tags, stores, quantities and all. Barter's export feature is a mess, it's a text-based export that doesn't clearly/cleanly separate game names from other elements. There's a reason I wrote a HTML scraper rather than an import tool, other than the convenience of a single-click import.

If you want a real alternative-- either (1) convince the Barter admin that banning Lestrade's is only making HIM look bad (because he's making it look like he's trying to prevent Lestrade's from working properly, and as there is no way he can prevent LT from importing user data, he's just making it more of a hassle for *users*), (2) or convince your friends to maintain their lists at LT's primarily, they'll soon appreciate how easier it is here. If the IP isn't unbanned by tomorrow, I'll definitively close the importer and will instead allow users to upload a HTML file of their lists for LT to analyze. Which, again, will be the admin's fault. (Uh, 'the admin'... I'm still wondering why he's more secretive than a torrent site admin.)

Note: if anyone has Donpeste in their friend list on Steam, can you message him that I answered his PM on Lestrade's..? Thanks! It was an old PM but I finally got around to replying, then I noticed he hadn't been there in a month so maybe I answered for nothing. ;)

Yes, the amount of requests.
Apparently LT did 474K requests over the last 2 months so that's about 5GB of data transferred per month. I argued that it has no bearing on Barter's allocated bandwidth (at least 1TB per month for a $5 server at Digital Ocean so I'm guessing it's more than 1TB), just a few %.
Anyway, I'm hoping we can get past that... It wasn't particularly amusing for either of us I think.

One sync per week would increase the chances barter or LT offers sent to you are moot.
It's a manual sync anyway.

Steam sync will be automatized soon (one per day possibly), with manual sync on top of it.

For me the sync of tradables with barter is interesting. The rest is of almost not of interest for me.
Syncing the tradables i must not do every day.
Wishlist i can maintain on Steam.

Yes, but that can't be done automatically.
Because Lestrade's has no way (NO way) to know whether a game isn't in sync because it was traded or because you redeemed it, or added another copy to one of the sites, made a mistake, etc. All Lestrade's can do is give you a list of games that are different across both sources.
So that's only ever going to be a manual sync, that one.

But since you can also add to wishlist locally on LT or Barter, it can't be synced automatically either.
However, I *can* (and will) sync automatically from Steam. (Library and Wishlist.)

I'm just trying to determine what would be the least taxing on the server.
Also, in case the page crashes if importing a huge Steam library, it might 'stop' the sync process for all subsequent users, so I need to make sure it can skip a user if a problem occurs.
