Still it would be nice to have some editing options down the line.
There will be. I released the system early for users to be able to trade when Barter died out on them.

@Victor Jota, you were out of luck. You registered on Barter *after* I stopped syncing. And since I had server crashes when analyzing user data at barter, I decided to go for a static array in a static file, meaning new users wouldn't be added. It was a logical choice a week ago, less so now-- but I've also removed the Barter new user scraping code so it's annoying to fix. :P

I fixed your account manually, you should be able to import now.

just use the search for game in the top right corner, you have to update manually one by one

It's not evil, it's just technically unrealistic. What if you do trades at LT's, are you going to ask barter for a sync button as well?
The question would then be, why do it here and not over there?
I understand the trading system here is quite dry and unfinished, but it's not going to last. I'm obviously still working on it. ;) The search box overhaul should be proof of that.

While the thread content doesn't fit my question, the topic definitely does -- does Lestrades sync my library and wishlist with Steam? If so, when?

Not yet.
It will.
When? Libraries first (code already exists but I disabled it 2 weeks ago to take care of B library imports), should be a couple of hours of work at most (or just a few minutes if I'm super-lucky), wishlists a bit later because I'd need to adapt my Steam library import code to do the same for wishlists but it's not written yet...

(Removed previous, long-form answer, which was totally unrelated to the question because I'm tired and I didn't read it properly.)

We should probably stop asking questions and let the guy finish coding :-)

Questions are actually good as they lead to improvements. Sometimes, the improvements are already under way, but it's never bad to ask regardless.

Related to that, all I want is for my wishlist to sync with Steam either automatically or via a simple push a sync button AND a way to at sync with my barter tradables list periodically as well (or at least be able to use check boxes as I mentioned in my other comment regarding this on another thread). What I don't want is to have to manually remove hundreds of items one by one.

I know at least one of these things is underway, but those things combined would make this a viable site for me to use (personally. I can't speak for anybody else of course).

With me, a little bit of everything is already under way, if only in my head. Currently, Lestrade's is in the implementation phase. I don't mind suggestions, but I'd rather I get them after I consider the site 'ready' to take on the trading community.

Automatic syncing will come later; right now I think the Sync button (for libraries) is good enough and allows me to focus on other things. Syncing with Steam wishlist will come soon, too; but I thought I'd do library syncing in 5 minutes and it took me a day, so I can't promise anything, except for the fact that I'm doing the 'internal work' I need for it.

Right now you can at least easily remove all your wishlisted items that you acquired in the meantime. (See my upcoming post on 'What's up?')
