If it bugs you, then it bugs me.

Just thought I'd create a generic topic for submitting bug reports. (Can also be strong generic annoyances.)
For minor annoyances or suggestions, there are other topics. This one is mostly there so I know what to focus on fixing!

Anything that requires more than a couple posts to discuss will eventually be split into their own topics (it only takes a couple clicks), so feel free to post here or on a new topic.

I'll start by mentioning the fact that Editing an offer will hide all of its games. I don't know why it hasn't been reported to me earlier... But that's how it is. It's worthless. ^^ And it's a bug. I'll fix it today.

Every now and then, when adding something to the wishlist, it'll add it twice. .

You can force it to happen by double clicking when adding something to the wishlist, but it has happened 4 out of 17 times without doing so.

Pika! Pika!

I also noticed that editing an offer and resending it, so that it does not expire can run into some issues when the quantities of games in the offer have been modified (as a result of other trades for example) and therefore they are removed from the new edited offer by default (unless reselected). I suppose they are allocated an unique ID of sorts and then Lestrades is unable to find that same ID later on when a specific game has been removed and then added again (to for example go from an imported Barter quantity of two to a single copy of a game).

This issue is not a top priority by any means and it might in particular be happening now due to the necessity of removing games and then adding them again due to multiple copies, but in the long run it would be nice if this would not be able to happen.

I was wondering if it would be useful to have a separate button to renew an offer instead of supposedly editing it and then resending it.

First things first, as mentioned in the FAQ, expiry dates are just for show right now. They're not enforced. In fact those who talked with me about LT's last year may remember that for a long time I considered not having expiry dates, only accepts, declines and cancels. I'm not sure I'll stick to that, but for now, there isn't an expiry.

Yes, removing and adding an item will change its tradable ID, thus screwing up your offers that include it. That's why I asked a couple days ago whether I should disable the Remove from List button for these items (until they're removed from all offers), or instead auto-cancel offers (an idea I'm not very fond of.)

In the long run, these problems won't be problems anymore.

Gosh I'm so SLOW at work. I was tweaking the search engine and ended up spending my entire day on it, and it's broken right now... (Well, I had JS errors; I reverted my code to make it work, but it's uglier than earlier today, I'll fix that tomorrow, too tired right now.

Oh, and I've found a UI solution for multiple tradables. That's some progress.
